Hello Again

Didn't mean to disappear. My dad's wife died suddenly last Friday, and we have had a rough few days. She was so lovely, and she and my dad enjoyed each other so much. They'd just finalized a trip to Egypt for September. She was such a wonderful part of our family. It's so unfair.

Oh my, I'm sad for you, your family, but mostly for your dad. I'm highly unacquainted with death and dread losing anybody as I get older, especially my new husband. So I feel for your father losing his love.

We are shaking our fists at the universe on behalf of you and your family. Glad to hear your voice again, even if virtually.

Hang. In. There.

Watched for you online. Sorry for your loss and for your dad losing his love and partner in life.

Thanks y'all. She was eight years younger than my dad, and he assumed he would go first. Ironically, she was always worrying out loud to me about how hard Dad works and hoping he wasn't overdoing it.

After watching him lose my mom, it seems so damned wrong. Echoing elbee ...Universe: Leave him alone, you big bully.

We love you so much, Mary. Miss you too. I hate that we can't be there to help you through this. We're sending you lots of love from Tennessee. Take care.
